This position is located at Rumple Fitness Center, Ft McCoy, WI.

The Rumpel Fitness Center is Ft McCoy's full-service fitness facility that features a range of cardiovascular equipment, free weights & everything needed for community members to achieve their fitness goals. The facility features a pool for lap swimming & a sauna/steam room for relaxation. The staff execute a variety of events and activities throughout the year including fitness classes, runs and basketball/volleyball tournaments.

Duties

Help
  • Assists patrons in the use of the facility and issues recreational equipment. Provides safety instructions and demonstrates the use of equipment as needed.
  • Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
  • Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory as well as receive and resolve customer complaints.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Complete and maintain lifeguard certification within 6 months of employment. The employer will provide the training to obtain this certification.
  • Shift will vary due to mission; nights, weekends and holidays will be required.

Highly Preferred Criteria:All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit.
- Possess Lifeguard Certification
- Possess First Aid Certification
- Possess CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) Certification
- Possess Water Safety Instructor Certification
