You will operate computer-aided design (CAD) drafting workstations; maintain and update drawings per engineering direction; design products to meet
engineering concept requirements; and complete technical data packages.
You will analyze and verify design drawings of other employees to conform to specifications and design data.
You will design and create drawings for specification and design data.
You will develop and prepare designs and drawings for warhead and propulsion hardware components and associated equipment and test fixtures from preliminary concepts, sketches, production drawings, specification sheets and other technical data.
You will perform work of a technical nature to ensure designs are specified requirements.
You will use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD and T) per ASME Y14.5 in detailed design drawings
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
NT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-09/10) equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing Technical Engineering support for prototyping or machining operations (e.g. Computer Aided Design (CAD)) to ensure design requirements are met.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
