Duties

Help
  • As a Supervisory Management Analyst, your duties may include:
  • Leading efforts to identify and utilize quantitative and qualitative data sources to assess and inform the agency's equity, diversity and inclusion strategies
  • Leading demographic workforce analyses designed to identify any existing inequities.
  • Leading and/or conducting demographic workforce analyses to assess trends in personnel actions including but not limited to hires, separations, awards, and adverse actions by race, ethnicity, sex disability status etc.
  • Leading and/or conducting demographic analyses including but not limited to salary equity studies, trends in complaints, and findings from employee surveys.
  • Leading efforts to develop reports communicating findings from workforce analyses, conducting briefings to communicate findings, and making recommendations to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Leading efforts to identify appropriate benchmarks, and new data sources.
  • Managing responses to requests for demographic data.
  • Ensuring data integrity including the accuracy of demographic workforce data received and disseminated.
  • Serving as an advisor to managers and supervisors on equity, diversity and inclusion related matters.
  • Partnering with other NIH offices and federal agencies as necessary to identify and conduct analyses to further the agency's diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Supervising a team of management analysts, social science analysts and statisticians.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-14:

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service
obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: conducting and leading multivariate analyses using equity, diversity and inclusion related variables, communicating the findings, and providing advice and guidance based on the findings; serving in a lead role on projects focused on equity and/or disparities; and leading teams.

You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
