Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare, (CM), Technology, Coding & Pricing Group (TCPG), Division of Data Analysis & Market Based Pricing (DDAMBP).
Lead the development, updates, and maintenance of data reporting tools and systems for Medicare Part B services.
Provide oversight of major data analytic contracts used to support the development of innovative policies designed to integrate care and promote efficiency, and quality of service for a wide range of health care programs.
Recommend ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed and develops performance standards.
Direct management of the Division's data collection and policy responsibilities to ensure project management, quality management, performance, and risk/issue management are integrated within the program and closely followed.
Manage and direct Division program and administrative operations, budget, procurement, and operating plans.
Provide oversight on the data collection and reporting tools used to support Medicare payment for clinical diagnostic laboratory testing and policies for ambulance services and Part B drugs and biologicals.

In order to qualify for the GS-15, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: (1) Developing, evaluating or maintaining policies, regulations, standards, or data analytic tools that define or inform the administration of health benefit or insurance programs, such as Medicare; (2) Developing short or long goals, budgets, analyses, or plans related to the administration or potential improvement of health benefit or insurance programs; AND (3) Planning, organizing or assessing the work activities to be accomplished by teams, including contractors (such as sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares/adjusts schedules for completion of work).

Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current or former Federal employees and current or former Federal employees applying under the VEOA eligibility who hold or have held a permanent General Schedule position in the previous year must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
