This position is located in the Office of Global Programming, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL/GP). DRL/GP manages all of DRL’s foreign assistance funded programs, including the Department’s Human Rights and Democracy Fund (HRDF) and Economic Support Funds (ESF) grants programs, which support activities promoting the Bureaus foreign assistance goals and objectives and DRL’s foreign policy on Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor globally.
Summary
This position is located in the Office of Global Programming, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL/GP). Develops human rights and democracy programming based upon foreign policy objectives through monitoring issues and coordinating with policy
officers and other Department contacts.
Analyzes, evaluates, and reviews programs for effective implementation of grants to promote human rights and democracy policies.
Analyzes, coordinates, and reviews programs for effective Implementation of grant programming.
Serves as Grants Officer Representative (GOR) for monitoring and oversight of most sensitive and complex grants.
Verification of employment eligibility in the United States is required.
One year probationary period, unless excepted by regulation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Statement of Employment & Financial Interest required prior to appointment.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Qualifications
