The selected candidate will work closely with the ODIG-OCO on Human Capital activities that are related to the OIG's execution of the Lead Inspector General Mission.
The selected candidate will provide technical support in the areas of 5 U.S.C. 3161 recruitment, placement and processing personnel actions.
Provides technical support for recruitment and placement.
Conducts pre-employment processing, including sending job offer letters and forms and working with new employees to complete processes.
Identifies the need for and obtains additional information, identifies issues or problems and resolves or notifies higher graded staff.
Conducts entrance on duty.
Processes or coordinates processing of actions needed to support personnel in foreign duty locations; maintains appropriate records.
Position has been designated as Non-Critical Sensitive; incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Knowledge of a variety of rules, processes and procedures for recruitment and staffing.
Skill in use of automated systems, databases and software to publish JOAs, process actions and maintain employee data and records.
Ability to work with all levels of staff and management to advise on recruitment and hiring action status, work with new employees and answer technical questions.
Skill in research of policy, practice, hard copy and online resources and in use of automated systems to perform research and summarize information.
