Be familiar with the Agency and Center's internal communications policies and shall work with the Center Communications Manager to coordinate the review and approval of content in accordance with those policies prior to distribution.
Develop an internal Center communications strategy focused on increasing employee engagement, ensuring employees have the information they need to be effective and understand their role in the Center's vision, strategy, initiatives and priorities.
Engage with NASA Langley senior leadership to assist in the creation and the effective deployment of strategic center messaging that captures current strategy and future goals with key stakeholders.
Liaise with executives across the Center to foster frequent communication across the workforce and work with the Office of Communications Lead to ensure all employee communications strategies are aligned with senior leadership priorities.
Measure the effectiveness of these engagement efforts with approved metrics and shall provide as-needed reports and briefings on those metrics.
Organize, produce and integrate employee focused information and events including employee town halls, executive meetings with employees and retreats.
Solicit and conduct interviews directly with subject matter experts to gather background information that helps highlight Langley strategic initiatives, programs, projects, contributions and the people who generate them.

Qualifications
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with senior leaders and subject matter experts and develops and disseminates informational materials to pertinent audiences through media; designs, plans, and advises on strategic communications programs; plans, initiates, and implements comprehensive internal engagement campaigns; resolve problems and make sound decisions supporting an organizations' communications strategy.
