As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:

  • Plan, direct, coordinate, lead, counsel, and evaluate the subordinate staff; ensure the timely performance of a satisfactory amount and quality of work; review work products of subordinates; and accept, amend, or reject their work.
  • Lead the team to identify OAE staff's training needs, developing and providing technical support, and coordination with OAE staff to ensure training needs are met, including core competencies.
  • Provide oversight for OAE travel, supplies, training, and award budgets. Monitor OAE expenditures, using MIS and other data, to ensure amounts do not exceed assigned allotments without justification and authorization by OAE top management.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience for the GS-14: Applicant must have one year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent in the public or private sector, directly related to the position as listed above and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience includes the following:
- Analyzing and evaluating issues/problems related to office operations, policies, and procedures; AND
- Contributing to the development of major policies; AND
- Coordinating a training program; AND
- Providing oversight of annual budget and spend plan for office expenditures.

In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.

Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a nontemporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- A one year supervisory probationary period may be required.
- Public Trust – Background Investigation will be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
