Duties

Help
  • Setting up glasses, silverware, dishes, trays, napkins, condiments, and cold menu items such as salads, desserts, bread, and cold beverages on a serving line or tables.
  • Preparing food by sorting, washing, peeling, and cutting fresh fruit and vegetables. Operating, break down, and cleaning all equipment assigned to the area for food preparation.
  • Separating food waste and trash from dishes, glasses, and silverware. Loads and operate dishwashers.
  • Removing dishes and trays from tables after meals. Washing tables and counters.

  • Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Ability to understand and follow oral instructions and do simple tasks that are easy to learn.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: knowledge, skills, abilities, additional screening criteria and other characteristics.

Must have knowledge of basic food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards and safe work procedures. Must have the ability to perform routine manual tasks involving few steps, and be able to read and understand written material. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.

This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.

Candidates with Special Qualifying Skills and Experience may be brought in higher than the Step 1 rate of pay, determined by the Hiring Manager.
