Summary
You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the SeaRange Instrumentation Division, Sea Range TSPI Branch (Code EB2150M) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Current permanent employees within the 63126 UIC, current or former time-limited employees that occupied a position located at a Defense Industrial Base Facility (DIBF) or Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB), and DoD Military Spouse Preference (MSP) Eligibles may apply.
You will direct the work of other personnel and coordinate Contractor personnel in all phases of the deployment, operation, recovery and maintenance of GPS Tracking Systems equipment and assets.
You will work closely with the System Lead, Operations Lead, and Branch engineers to ensure all maintenance activities are accomplished in a safe and timely manner.
You will oversee preventive/corrective maintenance procedures and efforts for the Transponder Shop assets and equipment.
You will analyze equipment status reports, malfunction reports, operational data reports and various other sources of information to research, predict, prevent or correct problems with the GPS Tracking Systems.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Knowledge of operation, maintenance, quality assurance, and real-time system availability for Sea Range operation; 2) Coordinating all phases of the deployment, operation, recovery and maintenance of GPS Tracking Systems equipment and assets (designated systems include, but are not limited to the R3 Data Link (RDL), Enhanced Data Link System (EDLS), and Air Warfare Battle Shaping (AWBS) sites and equipment); 3) Assisting with coordination of contractor personnel in all phases of the deployment, operation, recovery and maintenance of GPS Tracking Systems equipment and assets.
