Duties

Help

  • Assists in planning, coordinating, maintenance and managing the Outdoor Recreation Program.
  • Performs duties such as setting up recreation areas for scheduled activities, recording attendance, taking reservations and payments for trips and tours.
  • Markets the overall program, makes all necessary arrangements and solicits volunteers to act as trip leaders.
  • Registers customers and receives payment
  • Directs staff in daily work assigments.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:

  • Practical knowledge of recreational equipment, rules and procedures
  • Skill in use and maintenance of recreational equipment
  • Knowledge of computers, computers software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to communicate with the military and civilian community


You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Education
