Duties

Help
  • Register patrons, charge/discharge materials, process overdues and reserves. Answer basic reference questions.
  • Assist with interlibrary loans and reserves. Shelf library materials, prepare displays and program activities.
  • Assist customers in locating materials; and/or provide technical support services in a variety of functions: basic/copy cataloging, ordering/ receiving/processing and de-acquisitioning of library materials.
  • Assist in maintaining accountability records and in performing shelf inventories.
  • Perform simple maintenance on the library's automated systems.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first 30 days of employment.
  • This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
  • Must be willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

One year of specialized experience at the next lower level.
OR
Two years of education above high school.
OR
A combination of specialized experience and education that equates to 100% of the qualification requirements.
