Duties

Help
  • You will identify and schedule Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for preventative maintenance and calibration.
  • You will maintain records on equipment and hazardous material in accordance with Federal policies and regulations.
  • You will attend meetings and briefings to discuss issues and recommend solutions to problems
  • You will ensure hazardous waste containers are properly labeled and accumulation sites are set up and maintained in accordance with environmental regulations.
  • You will maintain inventory of Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Participate in preventative maintenance planning, development, coordination, improvement, and implementation of a wide variety of aircraft, engines, components, accessories and Ground Support Equipment (GSE); 2) Assist in the analysis of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) preventative maintenance, man-hours, and cost versus projections data; 3) Coordinate with management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and support personnel to prevent a recurrence of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) problems; and 4) Utilize analytical and statistical methods, such as trend analysis and forecasting, to create graphs and charts to reflect discrepancies in planned Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
