This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). You will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). You will advise the CFO, Deputy CFOs, and Associate CFO on sensitive issues and critical matters pertaining to the OCFO enterprise initiatives, policies, priorities, and program direction related to the OCFO organization.

Help
  • Develop business processes that will allow for the allocation and management of the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) enterprise budget for dollars and FTEs within the organizations.
  • Provide efficiencies in formulation of the budget for centers and Headquarters (HQ).
  • Develop business management processes that provide efficiencies in execution and reporting of the budget for centers and HQ.
  • Capture cost savings due to Mission Support Future Architecture Program (MAP) operational changes.
  • Analyze risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor risks status.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and present complex data, information and concepts for OCFO management and other HQs elements.
  • Coordinate Enterprise activities with team members, management, and other stakeholders and ensures compliance with policies and practices.

Qualifications

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.

To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level.

Specialized experience includes experience such as: Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting human capital data and trends to support strategic workforce planning, development, and execution; planning, analyzing, justifying, presenting, managing and reviewing center and enterprise financial budgets and providing recommendations to resolve budget/funding issues; center or enterprise-level experience with labor pricing and estimating, providing guidance to organizations for labor and procurement strategic trades; reviewing new or revised rulings, laws, policies, and/or regulations to determine their impact to a variety of Agency areas.

Salary is based on the "Rest of the US" pay table. Actual salary will be based on the duty location of the selectee.

This is a temporary promotion not to exceed six months may be extended up to one year and may be made permanent.
