Duties

Help
  • Prepare the Director's Annual Work Plans to include the financed and unconstrained programs for Real Property Maintenance Activity (RPMA) projects and Base Operations Support (BASOPS) large maintenance requirements.
  • Provide executive support services to the Directorate including submission of requests for personnel actions (RPAs), operational resources requirements (funding and human capital), and program budget guidance (PBG) execution tracking.
  • Perform delegated contract administration duties including analysis of contractor performance, recommendation for payment of contractor services, and tracks/analyzes program schedules to determine status of contract preparations.
  • Supervise a staff of managers, administrative, specialists, program and management analysts, geographical information analysts, and other technical personnel engaged in the division operations.
  • Administer a variety of management programs, such as Performance Annual Review, Sustainment Management Systems, Internal/Management Controls, Cost Benefit Analysis, and Work Order Management.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

  • This position may require a one year Supervisory Probationary period.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning, programming, managing, coordinating efforts of facility engineering personnel, government agencies, budget and programming personnel, and other administrative personnel for large scale facility engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance activities; assessing, implementing strategies and actions affirming the integrity, quality, and effectiveness of facility programs; advocating recommendations, strategies, and actions to reconcile novel, conflicting, or controversial facility operations, and maintenance issues This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
