Summary
As an Inspector General Criminal Investigator for the CIA, you will conduct investigations into allegations of fraud, waste, abuse and wrongdoing involving the CIA's personnel, programs, and operations worldwide. These may include alleged violations of Federal criminal statutes, as well as regulatory or administrative issues.

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is a statutorily independent component of CIA. You will work independently or as a member of a team conducting interviews, taking sworn statements, administering oaths, gathering evidence, analyzing records and data, preparing reports, and providing testimony in criminal justice and administrative proceedings. You will frequently interact with all levels of CIA employees and contractors, as well as with other law enforcement agencies, Inspectors General, and the Department of Justice. Some travel may be required for official duties. OIG Criminal Investigators carry a special position of trust and you will be expected to conduct yourself and your investigations in accordance with standards set forth in the Attorney General Guidelines, the Council of Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, and CIA.
