The subject position is located in the National Science Foundation (NSF), Office of Budget, Finance, and Awards Management (BFA), Division of Acquisition and Cooperative Support (DACS), Acquisition Operations Branch. Ensure that the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.

Conducts post-award administration on awarded contracts. This includes, but is not limited to, issuing modifications, exercising options, terminations, providing technical guidance to contractors and CORs, and contract closeout.

Candidates at the GS-14 level must have completed all the requirements for a bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college or university that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management AND have 4 years of specialized experience with one year equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience developing, preparing, and presenting terms and conditions in bids or proposals related to the award of contracts; negotiating and awarding contracts, contract modifications, and/or subcontracts; legal practice involving participation in negotiating, awarding, or administering contracts; or the analysis of procurement policies and procedures; administering the terms and conditions of contracts.
OR Held a GS-1102-14 position or above on January 1, 2000.
