Summary

Federal Career/Career-Conditional employees, Transfer, Reinstatement Eligibles, 30% Disabled Veterans, PPP DoD Military Spouse Preference Eligibles, Veterans Employment Opportunities Act (VEOA) and other individuals eligible under special appointment authorities.
Serves as the authority and Program Manager for DTIC's enterprise-wide Search Program.
The Search Program consists of the management of various search and retrieval functions, applications, and tools enterprise wide.
Provides oversight for multiple projects focused on developing, enhancing, and evolving DTIC's simple and advanced search tools and applications into a single view.
Develops and tracks program milestones, schedules, and costs, as well program issues under review, priorities, and related projects to be pursued.
Manages projects and initiatives, that continually seek to improve existing search products and tools, merge functions for efficiency, and maintain customer relationships through stakeholder engagement.
Time-In-Grade:
For entry at the GS-14 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-13 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade, GS-13, within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as experience managing and advising on programs and projects, from inception to completion, that have enterprise wide effects; planning and developing long-range goals, objectives, strategic and tactical plans for numerous relevant and inter-related technologies, to include the acquisition process; and communicating (oral and written) with senior level leaders and staff within an organization and with external customers in order to provide information and guidance.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
