The selectee for this position will serve as a Operations Manager over a staff of employees that includes building managers, building management specialists, lease administration specialists, and support employees. In this capacity, you will be responsible for supervising three or more PBS programs including design and construction, space management and leasing, procurement, safety and environmental management, space design, buildings services, and project management. You will supervise and coordinate several very distinct and different program areas and disciplines in order to accomplish the design and construction of large and complex buildings for both general office and specialized use; the repair and renovation of buildings on the National Register of Historic Places; the acquisition of large, sometimes controversial leases. The GS-13 salary range starts at $96,117.00 per year.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the full range of real estate programs including design, construction, building, space management and leasing, procurement, safety, environmental management, and project management.
Bargaining Unit status: This position is not included in a bargaining unit.
