Qualifications


You qualify at the GS-11 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements:

A. completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an an LL.M., if related. This degree must have included a total of 15 semester hours in an appropriate scientific, technical, or social science field(s), and at least one course above the introductory level in the field(s) covered by the position;

OR

B. 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: writing and editing products that explain biomedical programs and research findings; conducting research on a specific subject matter using published journals, on-line sources, observations and interviews with subject matter experts; assisting authors and designers in selecting effective formats and illustrations to augment a written message; and using desktop publishing software to draft, edit, and lay out content;

OR

C. a combination of post master's level education and experience that is directly related to the duties of this position that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
