Serves as a primary source for all instruction on use of simulation devices and applications in a variety of training and certification programs for various types of health care providers.
Provides oversight for healthcare providers' simulation requirements; programs simulation scenarios and produces simulation learning materials.
Manages the calibration and repair for simulators/equipment and manages all infection control procedures for simulator and other medical devices, to include monitoring proper cleaning and disposal of medical by-products.
Manages the reception area of Hospital Education to include assisting with signing up students for courses, registering and trouble-shooting a variety of online training applications.
Acquires, maintains, and tracks simulation equipment and/or supplies and for the turn-in of equipment/supplies.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Immunization screening required.
