This position serves as the Logistics Management Specialist supporting the Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Detailed Design & Construction project and is the subject matter expert in integrated logistics support (ILS), logistics sustainment, and federal acquisition policies and procedures related to acquisition logistics functions. The OPC project is the DHS Level I major systems acquisition that is modernizing the Coast Guard’s Medium Endurance Cutter fleet. The OPC program is the largest and most critical acquisition in Coast Guard history. The program is currently in the Detailed Design Phase. Upon completion of Detailed Design, construction will begin for Hull 1, followed by two phases of Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP).This position requires experience in developing and managing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and services in all phases of the Acquisition Lifecycle Framework.

*Managing integrated logistics support tasks performed under development and acquisition contracts, assisting in developing cost estimates and spending plans and evaluating contractor performance.
*Participating in the development of a logistics integrated master schedule for each segment of the project.
*Planning for resource requirements (e.g., manpower, budgets, technical data and equipment) to support asset systems throughout the life cycle.
*Developing optimized integrated logistics support and sustainment plans and processes supporting mission readiness, system availability and operational effectiveness.
*Defining integrated logistics support requirements to support product development, production, deployment, and sustainment.
