Summary

About the Position: This position will support the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Plans & Operations Division.

Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or reassignment NTE 13 months by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition.

Duties

Help
  • Serve as the Team Lead for the Command Maintenance Discipline Program (CMDP)/Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) team for the Directorate of Logistics Operations Branch.
  • Responsible for the supply, maintenance and transportation support for the installation.
  • Conducts Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) reviews internally and for various organizations on installation.
  • Compute quality assurance data trends/conditions and prepare reports or charts depicting statistical data.
  • Present superiors with straightforward assessments on supply accountability posture.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires a pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with Joint Ethics Regulation DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing guidance and technical expertise of logistics automation support and systems; management of moving, storing and distribution of material; proficient in using and interpreting logistics automation systems; conducting supply program and quality system reviews and preparing briefings and reports on findings. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
