Provide expert advice, guidance, and consultation on achieving integration and interoperability across basic, clinical, and translational data.
Collaborate with other Institutes and Centers (ICs) within NIH, and with other NCI-supported initiatives on current or emerging theories and methodologies relevant to cancer biology and semantic infrastructure.
Develop informatics standards across NCI programs consistent with CBIIT's strategic plan.
Provide management, supervision, and direction to the semantic infrastructure staff.
Serve as a Project Officer in the management of projects involving semantic infrastructure, and act as a COR (Contracting Officer Representative).
U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirement:
You must possess a Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree in a major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences, or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
In addition to meeting the Minimum Education Requirement, you must meet the following Qualification Requirement:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: consulting on biomedical or clinical informatics, data science, or semantic infrastructure programs; formulating priorities, plans, or budgets for biomedical or clinical informatics or semantic content programs; contributing to biomedical or clinical informatics, data science, or terminology tool and content projects; identifying requirements, market research, and approval of scope, project plans, schedules, and deployment plans as appropriate; serving as a project officer in the management of projects involving biomedical or clinical informatics, data science, or semantic infrastructure; and advising on current or emerging theories and methodologies relevant to cancer biology, clinical informatics, or semantic infrastructure.
