Responsibilities include serving as a staff member in the Physical Education Department and performing faculty duties. May teach undergraduate courses in Physical Education, manage and instruct competitive athletic programs, perform departmental duties, promote professional activities in area of athletic specialization (Track and Field/sprints and hurdles); and participate in course and curriculum development. Manages intercollegiate Track and Field program in full compliance with the rules, regulations and bylaws of the National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA), Mountain West Conference(MWC) or other applicable conference affiliation and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
The selected candidate will be subject to a security investigation leading to successful completion of a background investigation with a favorable adjudication. The selectee's failure to meet this requirement will be grounds for termination.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: An earned Bachelor's degree (must be completed by application deadline) in any field and demonstrated experience and proficiency in the field of specialization - Track and Field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates that have experience as a Track and Field coach preferably at the Division 1 intercollegiate program level.
