Duties

Help

The NA-04 level Cook duties are, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare and Cook a full range of items that require little processing
  • Make cold sandwiches and fillings
  • Responsible for the set up and maintenance of the salad bar
  • Must be able to follow written recipes
  • Clean, store, and maintain equipment
  • Cover, date, and store leftovers

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a medical examination.
  • Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and physical.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willing to accept a "Flexible" appointment (Flexible employees are not guaranteed any hours but may be scheduled as many as 40 hours per week).
  • Appointment subject to favorable suitability determination.
