Duties

Help
  • You will provide oversight of higher level construction processes from project induction through construction completion, for a variety of complex projects and for conventional facilities and installations
  • You will coordinate contractor badging, job walks, pre-construction and other meetings with project stakeholders (both Navy and non-Navy) as necessary
  • You will coordinate necessary permits for construction (dig permits, utility locates, etc) as well as necessary certifications for elevators, fire protection, and cranes.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

DT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/10) or pay band (DT-3) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1.) Experience with facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) efforts; 2.) Experience with repair, construction, alteration and equipment installation of facilities and structures such as concrete foundations, roofing, pavements for roads and parking areas and various minor construction projects; 3.) Provided liaison support with various service providers; 4.) Verified compliance with all certification, safety, fire prevention, and security program requirements; 5.) Completed documentation necessary for requesting service provider support; and/or 6.) Certified facilities projects are completed and executed properly.

DT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-5/8) or pay band (DT-2) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1. Experience with facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM), 233 initiative, and earthquake recovery investments; 2. Experience with repair, construction, alteration and equipment installation of facilities and structures such as concrete foundations, roofing, pavements for roads and parking areas and various minor construction projects; 3. Experience providing liaison support with various service providers; 4. Experience assuring compliance with all certification, safety, fire prevention, and security program requirements; 5. Awareness of documentation necessary for requesting service provider support; and/or 6. Experience ensuring facilities projects are completed and executed properly.

Have a combination of experience and graduate level education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
