About the Position:

Manage criteria development, planning and design execution of assigned projects.
Monitor dollar amount utilization on contracts, coordinate changes and additions, and advise when replacement contracts are anticipated.
Work and communicate with customers both within and outside of the organization/federal government to provide quality service and satisfy expectations.
Prepare correspondence for higher authority, other government agencies, field offices, public officials, civic organizations, and contractors concerning planning, direction, and execution of the work.
Plan, schedule, task, and monitor the progress of others in the procurement of contracts, serving as the single point of contact for status of contract acquisitions.
Identify and develop ways to resolve problems or cope with issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal programs of the Huntsville Center.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance for the duration of employment.
This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for certification at Level III in the Acquisition Career Field of Facilities Engineering within 24 months of entrance on duty.
This position requires submission of an annual financial disclosure statement.
You may be required to travel up to 30% of the the time.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
One year of specialized experience which includes planning, developing, coordinating and implementing processes and procedures to manage assigned projects inclusive of varied complex features concerning functional, technical, and administrative project aspects and leading project delivery teams (PDTs). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
