Serves as the Deputy for the Programs and Project Management Division (PPMD) and as the Chief of the Management Support Branch.
Exercises administrative and technical supervision of teams within the branch to include work assignments, advice and instructions pertaining to technical aspects of the work, and coordinates the mission of the subordinates with functional elements.
Responsible and accountable for delivery of projects, authoritative interpretation of directives and policies, and the allocation of funds to accomplish planning, design, and construction in accordance with agreed upon budgets and schedules.
Attends conferences with representatives of higher echelons, other Federal agencies, using services, and local interests.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This is a critical acquisition position (CAP) which requires Senior Level III certification in the acquisition career field of Facilities Engineering.
Selectees must sign an Army Acquisition Corps (AAC) written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for at least three (3) years.
This is a designated Key position.
