Duties

Help
  • You will maintain constant awareness of fleet schedules to ensure in port and underway ordnance transfers are handled in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • You will coordinate current and future ordnance requirements to meet fleet user?s needs.
  • You will provide support for planning and determining the distribution and positioning of supplies among its major retail supply stations, stock points and assigned units.
  • You will coordinate and monitor ordnance logistics objectives to meet assigned unit/commodity load requirements.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate:
I have one year of specialized Inventory Management Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the planning and coordination of ordnance. I have experience utilizing automated Information Systems to provide analysis on Ordnance program objectives. Examples of specialized experience may include: ) Utilize Ordnance Information System-wholesale to perform work; 2) Maintains constant awareness of fleet schedules to ensure in port and underway ordnance transfers are handled in timely and cost effective manner; 3) Assist in coordinating current and future ordnance requirements to meet fleet users' needs.

master's or equivalent graduate degree

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
