The GS-12 salary range starts at $77,998 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must possess at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as evaluating policies and implementing programs related to the operation and maintenance of medium size (e.g. 500K sq ft), multi-level, commercial buildings (or equivalent non-housing high rise building) and leased space; analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of building operations, automated systems, and mechanical equipment; establishing and maintaining customer satisfaction programs that include feedback mechanisms used to evaluate the effectiveness of services provided; and managing or monitoring real property budgetary and financial data.
There is no education substitution for the position.
