Duties

Help
  • Serves as Program Integrator for highly complex DoD weapons system program to resolve, monitor and disposition complex acquisition programs.
  • Responsible for providing an integrated DCMA assessment of the contractor's program performance as well as recommendations for future programmatic efforts.
  • Assure overall mission accomplishment by handling assignments, performs programmatic reviews and serves as a technical advisor relating to Program Management.
  • Maintain contact with various customers, organizational representatives and project stakeholders to solve complex programmatic issues.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must file an annual financial statement.
  • This position requires a random Counter-Intelligence Scope Polygraph examination.
  • All applicants tentatively selected for this position will be required to submit to urinalysis testing to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
  • If selected, you will be subject to a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • The clearance is required for SPECIAL ACCESS PROGRAM eligibility and access in order to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. The clearance process can take 120 days or longer to complete.

QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized Experience required: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level NH-02. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience performing work that involves management and organizational principles and practices related to weapon systems; analyzing and advising program performance, operations, and risks; and development and providing of briefings.

Education cannot be substituted for experience.

  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • This position is designated as an Acquisition position and is subject to the provisions of the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act and associated DoD and DCMA policies and guidelines. Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III in Career Category Program Management within 24 months of entrance on duty.
