Duties

Help
  • Serves as Financial Management Specialist for the Installation, Morale and Recreation Fund (IMWRF) at a large installation, MACOM, or HQDA.
  • Assists in the development of financial policies, plans and fiscal operating procedures for Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) activities. Plans, formulates, and prepares operating budgets.
  • Prepares IMWRF Strategic Plan, cash budgets and Capital Purchase/Minor Construction (CPMC) budgets. Researches, verifies, and revises program and budget data.
  • Develops standard operating procedures for safeguarding cash and fixed assets. Prepares financial reports of NAF operations to include budget variance analysis, CPMC execution, and cash flow projections.
  • Performs a wide range of review and analysis of NAF financial operations in order to evaluate performance in terms of requirements, goals and objectives. May supervise subordinate staff.
  • Performs the full range of supervisory responsibilities and supports the Equal Employment Opportunity Program.

Qualifications

Minimally Qualified applicants will possess:

Demonstrated ability to perform the duties described above using the theories, principles, practices and techniques of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Highly Qualifying Criteria:

1. Three and more years' NAF financial management experience. Experience must be clearly demonstrated in your resume.

2. Demonstrated experience in creation and submission for approval of NAF Annual Operating Budgets, Capital Purchase/Minor Construction Budgets, and NAF Major Construction. Experience must be clearly demonstrated in your resume.

3. Demonstrated experience conducting, documenting, and briefing financial performance and analysis. Experience must be clearly demonstrated in your resume.
