Federal Space Management Specialist work on a wide array of assignments. They assists with coordination and/or execution of any activities required to secure customer agency commitment to proposed housing solutions. These may include assisting with the drafting of Occupancy Agreements, drafting building drawings or floors plans, needs assessments, financial analyses, and other associated activities required. As a Federal Space Management Specialist you will be responsible for:

GS-9 LEVEL:
The GS-09 salary starts at $52,905 (depending on duty location). If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-09, you must demonstrate one year of experience equivalent to the GS-07 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is assisting with activities required to secure customer agency commitment to proposed housing solutions. These may include assisting with the drafting of Occupancy Agreements, drafting building drawings or floors plans, needs assessments, or financial analyses OR
Have a master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. This education provided you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Possess a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
GS-11 LEVEL:
The GS-11 salary starts at $64,009 (depending on location). If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-11, you must demonstrate one year of experience equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is assisting with activities required to secure customer agency commitment to proposed housing solutions. These may include assisting with the drafting of Occupancy Agreements, drafting building drawings or floors plans, needs assessments, or financial analyses OR
Have 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. This education provided you the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position OR Have a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
GS 12 LEVEL:
The GS-12 salary starts at $76,721. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify for the GS-12, you must demonstrate one year of experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service.
Specialized experience with activities required to secure customer agency commitment to proposed housing solutions. These include the drafting of Occupancy Agreements, drafting building drawings or floors plans, needs assessments, or financial analyses.
Bargaining Unit status: AFGE

College transcripts: If you are using some or all of your college education to meet qualification requirements for this position, you must submit a photocopy of your college transcript(s). For education completed outside the United States, also submit a valid foreign credential evaluation that substantiates possession of the required education.
