As Chief of Staff the incumbent will provide high-level support to the Inspector General (IG) and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and serve as a trusted advisor and resource, as well as critical link in the communication between the Front Office, Office of Inspector General (OIG) staff, and stakeholders. The incumbent performs a wide range of ongoing sensitive assignments and conducts complex special inquiries, projects and investigations at the direction of the IG.

Successful completion of a background and security investigation.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
You may qualify for this position based on specialized experience. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position being filled. To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level. To qualify for the GS-14 grade level, you must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level.
Examples of specialized experience include:
Ability to conduct research, compile information in order to provide results.
Knowledge of Federal Programs and Operations.
Ability to effectively communicate in writing.
Ability to orally communicate with Senior-Level staff and External organizations.
