Duties

Help
  • Review requests for construction, maintenance, repair, renovation, replacement, and other services.
  • Plan repair, maintenance and servicing work for various work functions in advance of actual operations; establishing basic work requirements.
  • Set start and completion times for each job; determining the type of labor and approximate number of hours required for each phase of the operation.
  • Analyze the availability of required repair parts or materials in response to facility repair requests and recommends changes to sources of repair parts or schedule changes to optimize shops productivity.
  • Establish short and intermediate preventative maintenance schedules that result in effective production control programs.

Qualifications

GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, estimating and scheduling labor hours, and helping expedite the use of labor hours, equipment, materials, fund tracking, and resource leveling to support facilities construction, maintenance work orders and projects.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
