You will report to, receive assignments and priorities from The Code 900SD Detachment Production Manager for all projects involving the various trades in the shop.
You will be responsible for appropriate personnel, equipment, tooling maintenance and availability to support all Ships' availabilities.
You will develop goals and objectives that integrate organization and combat systems production objectives.
You will provide technical and administrative supervision over a group of a minimum of 30 civilian and military employees.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience determining work priorities and coordinating work between projects and trades to ensure progress of work.
Experience managing shop work operations and supervising several supervisors in various trades including electrical, electronics, and tool room/production machinery repair.
Experience providing input for the project scheduling and sequencing process.
Experience communicating information concerning required material, facilities, resources, and grouping of work for assigned area to project team members.
Experience performing ship repair and overhaul and using shipyard instructions to ensure the progress of work.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
