Duties

Help

The incumbent serves as a Project Manager for a Business Group and is responsible for a combination of duties, this incudes managing and coordinating orders from inception through completion. Incumbent serves as the single point of contact between the customer and UNICOR. Incumbent monitors and follow up to ensure orders placement and confirmation. Resolves problem presented by the customer and completion of all order modification requests. Coordination of manufacturing, scheduling, and shipping from multiple factories. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for complex project level orders. These orders require extensive up front preparation and planning to effectively define the level and scope of the project.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements:

Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.

Experience

You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.

To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are:

GS-12:

  • Experience coordinating the loading, and manufacturing and shipment of all products required, including the installation, set-up, follow-up, and resolution of issues to include billing.
  • Experience in defining and documenting the scope and complexity of each project, preparing appropriate time lines and project documentation and summary reports.
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining close coordination and oversight of all aspects of projects to maintain the critical path and meet all objectives.

Credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities.

The representative rate for this position is $91,740 per annum ($43.96 per hour).
