As a Supervisory Program Analyst (Program Support Manager), you will manage a program support team and will be responsible for managing the workload, resources, operational procedures, policies and functions of the Division.
Duties include:
Managing, understanding and overseeing the analytical work of the division such as forecasting workload, conducting long-term planning and management, and developing policy;
Supervising and managing a Program Support Team of 8-12 staff members engaged in the end to end business processing of scientific proposal funding. This includes applying a full range of managerial and supervisory functions including but not limited to: Participating in the recruitment and selection process; Coordinating and allocating workload for the program support team; monitoring and tracking successful completion of work products;
Identifying, projecting, and allocating resources required to provide administrative support;
Serving as the Division's chief administrative liaison with other organizations within the agency, other Federal agencies, the scientific community, and other organizations affiliated with the Division's programs;
Coordinating with Division management to develop new or modified administrative policies, goals, and objectives and carrying them through to completion utilizing your Program Support Team; and
Recommending and implementing changes or improvements in organization staffing, work methods, and procedures based on results from studies on employee/organizational analyses.

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: planning work to be accomplished by team members, setting and adjusting short-term priorities and preparing schedules for completion of work; identifying developmental and training needs of employees; developing performance standards; working with managers to ensure that program and agency objectives are being met; projecting administrative support staff resource needs; providing input and insight into the development and implementation of new policies and procedures that affect an organization’s programs and processes.
