Help


As a Digital Imaging Technician, you will:

  • Use moderate software programs associated with CCTV, Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Perform routine work practices that require close attention to detail, such as pulling and re-filing records to be digitized or communicating information about the automated metadata extractions.
  • Control and review processes relating to digital images and hardcopy output, and the technical assessment of various image quality parameters and performance of scanners and imaging systems.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience for the GS-06 grade level is defined as one year of experience at the GS-05 grade level, or equivalent, that is typically in or related to the position and which equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience:

Communicating inquiries, verbally or in writing; AND
Converting analog textual records, photographs, maps, and microforms into digital formats; AND
Applying regulations, policies or procedures to accomplish work assignments.
