Serve as subject matter expert for the regional inspector general operating report (RIGOR) time charges and the Audit Information Management System (AIMS) through a web-based application.
Retrieve and analyze data from RIGOR and AIMS systems, and generate customized reports.
Review the accuracy of the information reported by audit units and maintain the table of task numbers in the system.
Evaluate the system periodically and develop new requirements and communicate the results to the programmer.
Track and analyze performance audits, surveys, assessments, letters, etc. in support of the OIG's mission.
Identify trends, stand out recommendations, and gaps in audit products in conjunction with quantitative analysis for individual and collective audit planning, policy, legal responses, risk assessments, and performance measures.
Compile and analyze data from several databases to complete ad-hoc assignments.
Prepare statistical tables and calculate performance metrics for the Semiannual Report to the Congress (SARC). Maintain oversight over OIG/MCC's statistical tables in the SARC and monthly reports.
Process Audit Support help requests and provides task numbers when audits are added to the plan.
Prepare monthly audit reports for senior managers.
Develop study plans, conduct literature search, organize teams of analysts to assist in study effort and provide outline of study elements.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Relocation expenses WILL NOT be paid.

Qualifications
Specialized experience required for GS-11: To qualify for the GS-11 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-09 level in the Federal service or equivalent. Specialized experience is defined as: (1) Developing procedures, standards and methods for collecting, processing, analyzing, summarizing and presenting statistical or financial data for system and/or project evaluation; (2) assisting in preparing ad-hoc and quarterly reports for management; (3) assisting in preparing statistical tables for the Semi-Annual Reports to the Congress (SARC).
GS-11 grade level applicants may also qualify based on education or a combination of specialized experience and education: To qualify based on education, applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, if related.
