Summary

Serves as the Insider Threat Supv. Senior General Investigative Analyst GG-14 level for OPNAV N2N6/NIA SI Navy Insider Threat Program Branch. In this position you will serve as the First-Level supervisor of the Navy Insider Threat (InT) Analytic Hub, with the mission to protect Navy information, networks, facilities, and personnel by managing Navy's capability to prevent, detect, deter, and mitigate insider threat to Navy resources.

Duties

Help
  • Provide guidance to GG-13 Navy civilians and also Navy operational teams of multi-disciplinary analysts in the Navy InT Analytic Hub
  • Responsible for development of the U.S. Navy InT Analytic Hub.
  • Establish performance goals and standards that contribute toward increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the InT Hub.
  • Plan and direct daily overall work operations for subordinate analysts, set priorities, establishes objectives and makes decisions on issues/situations related to threat detection presented by subordinates.

  • 180 Day Waiver Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties such as: 1) Conduct analysis and production of fused assessments of insider threats and associated risks; 2) Review and approve all insider threat analytic products to validate operational effectiveness; 3) Ensure that assigned potential risk indicators and inquiries are conducted and completed in accordance of organizational regulations to determine relevance and significance to issue under investigations; 4) Oversee the development and preparation of formal and informal materials that including fact sheets, talking points, and audiovisual presentations.
