You will serve as project leader in the planning, design, and/or implementation of an operational installation of an IT environment.
You will install and configure Virtual Server software as well as deploying and managing Virtual machines using Virtual Server software.
You will perform diagnostic test and analysis to determine system failures.
You will coordinate with NAVOCEANO SCI Information System Security Manager to ensure Virtual, Windows and Storage systems security and accreditation documentation are complete.
You will develop plans to incorporate new hardware and software into existing infrastructure.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector expert experience with computer and network security. Expert experience with information processing systems. Planning, designing, and/or the implementation of an operational installation of an IT environment. Designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and/or reviewing new scientific and server-level systems architectures. Developing plans to incorporate new hardware and software into existing infrastructures. Experience in the design, installation, modification, and maintenance of server based operating systems, in particular, Windows Server, VMWare, and NETApp operating systems. Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and managing Virtual Server software and/or Virtual machines using Virtual Server software.
