This position is ideal for a highly motivated experienced pipefitter supervisor who has experience performing supervisory work along with pipefitter work which involves plumbing and pipefitting repair, renovation, design, and maintenance of buildings' steam and hot water plant operations.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
SELECTIVE SERVICE: Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for the Selective Service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: You must be capable of making frequent inspections of the Academy to observe more closely, situations requiring varying solutions. Incumbent must have no fear of heights since assignments require climbing up long ladders to inspect high points of Academy structures. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: There is danger of falling from ladders or scaffolds, from tools dropped by subordinates, and possible eye or hand injuries while operating power equipment. May at times be required to be present and assist in various Academy emergencies as snow storms, ice storms, hurricanes or heavy winds where damage has occurred to buildings, piers, utilities and other Academy facilities.
