About the Position: This position is with US Army MEDDAC, Evans Army Community Hospital, Directorate of Logistics. The incumbent in this position will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator and perform material handling work. Operate motor vehicles to deliver medical supplies.
Perform daily preventive maintenance checks on vehicles.
Assist with loading and unloading of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring cargo is properly located, distributed and secured and vehicle is not loaded past it's capacity.
Perform daily resupply operations to automated supply systems assigned to route.
Screen supplies for expiration dates, and removes expired items ensuring items such as hypodermic needles and syringes are secured in accordance with storage procedures.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Must be in possession of a stateside drivers license.
Seasonal influenza vaccination is required.
Must obtain and maintain a government driver's license.
Must complete training requirements as stated.
