Make decisions to safeguard the Academy, its Midshipmen and staff.
Carry out any specialist orders or standing orders of the Commandant of Midshipman.
Observe all Midshipmen restriction musters, as possible, and makes frequent tours of the entire campus and all dormitories for accountability checks.
Ensure that the Midshipmen Command Duty Officer is performing his/her duties in accordance with Commandant's instructions.
Maintain a Command Duty Officer logbook and report activities throughout the watch to include any significant incidents or emergencies.
