Duties

Help

  • Prepare the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Annual Work Plan (AWP) with the assistance of other offices and divisions.
  • Gather, analyze, and act on a variety of information pertaining to the full spectrum of Directorate of Public Works (DPW) programs and services; specifically cost, schedule and performance data.
  • Make recommendations to Director and Division Chiefs regarding the levels of service based on Installation Management Command (IMCOM) guidance.
  • In coordination with the Directorate of Resource Management (DRM),supported tenants and other external supporting entities, develops and maintains Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Memorandums of Understanding/Agreement (MOU/A), Inter/Intra-Service Support Agreements (ISSAs) and Inter/Intra-Governmental Support Agreements (IGSAs)
    necessary to accomplish the Directorate of Public Works (DPW)mission.
  • Serves as the Team Leader with technical and administrative supervision, exercising full responsibility over DPW work reception and management operations.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Comprehensive and detailed knowledge and understanding of program methods, practices, procedures, regulations, precedent decisions, and policies of the Resource Management Officer and higher headquarters. Examples of programs include the Manpower and Equipment Program, the Army Management Control Program and fundamentals of strategic planning.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
