Summary

As an Administrative Support Assistant, the incumbent is responsible for:
Applying knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carryout a wide variety of administrative functions related to the organization and its mission; personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security.
Composes operating procedures and setting internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services.
Having an extensive knowledge of rules, operations, practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines is required.
Performing other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet.
1. Incumbent must be able to type 40 words per minute.

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Incumbent must have generalized experience which includes: Creating and editing letters and reports to ensure grammatical correctness in MS Word; creating spreadsheets using MS Excel to input and track data for personnel, accounting, budget, and purchasing; and answering customer questions or requests for information in-person and telephonically.
This position requires the incumbent to type 40 words per minute.
