Duties

Help
  • You will maintain up-to-date archival databases.
  • You will maintain general maintenance records.
  • You will enforce procedures and methods to preserve valuable records.
  • You will inform patrons of rules and regulations.
  • You will perform detailed and relative difficult arrangement of work after supervisor or responsible archivist has approved the general plan of arrangement.

Qualifications

GS-06: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector collecting, arranging, describing, maintaining, and providing access to records that are sent to a archives center.

GS-07: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing an Archives Branch Digitalization program, including overseeing and documenting document cleanup, preparation, tracking and quality control.
