Therefore, your resume MUST support and clearly show your responses to the assessment questions. If, after reviewing your resume, a determination is made that you have inflated your qualifications and/or experience which resulted in you being listed in the highest quality category, you may lose consideration, or be assigned to a lower quality category for this position. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics):

(2) Knowledge of fishery biology and fish hatchery programs to collect and analyze data
(3) Knowledge of fish hatchery operations

This means that veterans with preference will be referred over non-veterans per rating category. Veterans' preference eligibles who meet the Minimum Qualification Requirements and who have a compensable service-connected disability of at least 10 percent will be listed in the highest quality category (except in the case of scientific or professional positions at the GS-09 level or higher).

Veterans: If you are a veteran with preference eligibility and you are claiming 5-point veterans' preference, you must submit the Member Copy 4 copy of your DD-214 showing your military service that that you were honorably discharged. If you are claiming 10-point veterans' preference, you must attach the Member Copy 4 copy of your DD-214 showing your military service and that you were honorably discharged as well as a SF-15," Application for 10-Point Veterans' Preference" along with your Department of Veterans Affairs letter stating % of disability.
